Pictured below is Mr. Paul David, who is Shapes Director for ENSINGER and     some of the Beddau bowlers. Mr. David is presenting our new Club shirts to our Chairman Mr. Steve Vargas. Also pictured are our Club President Mr. Glyn        Harris (front, second left), Club Captain Colin Jones (front right) and vice          Captain Mr. Chris Rogers (front left).

Mount Pleasant Park - Beddau is the home of three bowling teams. Beddau is a      'flat lawn green' bowling club, with members from around the Beddau areas.          The three teams are: Beddau Mens, Mount Pleasant Ladies and the Police.

Pictured below, are some of the players who played in our annual Mixed Triples      Day Competition in 2009. The winners were Elsie Woodroffe, Alice Tudor and      skip Trevor Wilkins.

The Beddau Mens team (formed in 1974) still has a good membership from     around the areas, and are currently playing in the Saturday Cardiff Municipal      League (CML) Division 3, and two Rhondda Leagues - Monday Afternoon        (RAL) one league and Thursday Evening (REL) Section 2. We are a                     self-manned club from 2009, but the RCT Council maintains the green,        hedgerows and pavilion.

Pictured below are Beddau Men's team at Cowbridge, on the 17th April 2010,          all wearing our new sponsored shirts by ENSINGER. For more information,       see the picture and names in our Photo Gallery section, and also our mid-week sponsored polo shirts (taken at the start of our match against the Mount          Pleasant Ladies bowls team, on the 24th April).

Contact Club Secretary Mr Chris Rogers on 01443 205821, or Club Captain Mr Colin         Jones on 01443 203067 for further information. Thank you.

These shirts have been sponsored by ENSINGER.                                                                               Their logo reads ASK, THINK, SUCCEED.                                                    Ensinger is a world leader in the field of plastics, excelling in both the             manufacturing of semi-finished stock shapes and profiles, and in machining of     plastic materials. Pictured below are Ray Morgan (left), and Mal Manfield before their 2008 Championship Final. Ray went on to win the match by 21 shots to 16. It was a      very good match, and a pity someone had to lose.

Below is a picture of a 'motley crew' during Finals Day 2008. Club Captain Glyn Harris is 4th from the left, and Club Tournament Secretary Colin Jones is 2nd        left.

The Mount Pleasant Ladies team were established in 1986, and also have a good membership, and play regularly at our venue. Their team boasts several Welsh Internationals and also County players.

Contact Club Captain Mrs Pam Harris for further information.
